Had u wel eens van Kenny O’Dell gehoord? In februari 1968 had hij een klein hitje in de VS. Hij opereerde vooral in het country-genre, en daar hielden ze ginds meer van dan wij hier. Hij schreef vooral voor anderen zoals Charlie Rich, die daar soms flink mee scoorden. Dirk van Dijk en Frans de Graaff vertellen nog veel meer over de hitscene in die tijd. 2e uur: Geen Twentse groepen dit keer maar The Cats en The Golden Earrings hebben vast wel opgetreden in enkele van de vele clubs die er toen waren. Uitschieters dit uur: Something about Suburbia en When Jezamine Goes.
