"1968" Met Dirk van Dijk en Koen Edeling. 1e uur: Voor de liefhebbers van het typische geluid van deze periode hebben we vandaag een heel obscuur duo: The State of Micky and Tommy. Twee engelse heren genaamd Jones en Brown maakten een paar aantrekkelijke plaatjes in Engeland. Eén daarvan, With Love from 1 to 5, werd zelfs in de VS uitgebracht, en dat gebeurt ook met de opvolger, Frisco Bay. Leuk geluid, en de b-kant is zo mogelijk nóg leuker. Micky Jones was later mede-oprichter van de groep Foreigner, maar eerst zouden de twee nog redelijk wat succes hebben in…. Frankrijk. 2e uur:Een groep die zelden in de lijsten voorkomt is The Symbols, een typische harmony group. Wij houden wel van dat soort muziek. Ze mochten een stel plaatjes maken en omdat één daarvan, Bye Bye Baby, zowaar in de Top 50 terechtkwam mochten ze daar nog even mee doorgaan. Je voelt wel aan dat ze het best uit de voeten kunnen met covers, want hun huidige 45 was oorspronkelijk van The Ronettes.
